Like many national brands, Canadian brands have to reach the domestic consumers while challenging brands with world-wide reputation. The Canadian brand ranking below reflects brand performance.

According to the ranking, financial services dominate. The Royal Bank of Canada stands at the top, followed by TD Canada Trust. These brands represent each one more than 3 billion Canadian dollars. Telecom brands appear also as top-performing brands. Bell (rated 4th),
Telus (10th) and Rogers (18th) are the Canadian icons in the telecommunication industry. In the energy sector, Petro-Canada (3rd) is the most valuable brand, followed further by Husky (12th) and Suncor (25th).
