Over 500,000 .mobi domain names registered!
DotMobi announced that more than 500,000 .mobi have been registered since its commercial launch (see .mobi opening). According to the registry, .mobi is now covering 104 countries. This tendancy illustrates the growing demand for made-for-mobile content.
The dedicated extension for mobile devices has reached widely industries and sometimes represents a big part of the communication strategy for well-known brands.
