The total number of active .eu domain names has now reached 1,351,559 since its opening on last friday!!! It is a real success as it is already in the top ten domain name extension (TLD). It is in Germany that the highest number of domain names has been registered in Europe with about 430 000 domain names.

FICORA, registry of the .fi domain names in Finland is announcing the opening of the extension (ccTLD) to the private person by the 1st of march 2006. The principle "first arrived, first served" will be applied.
